1.There are 2 u's:
A. with a vertical line on the right

B. without a vertical line on the right

2.And there are 2 a's:
A. Consolas' type

B. Monaco's type

As programmers will be easier (to use less time) to recognize if the fonts are fit to their usual handwriting habits learned from childhood, maybe u with a vertical line on the right (which is also benefit for Greek letter '渭''s display, see #244 and #336) and the Monaco's type for a (which is also more simple) are better?
Hi @1900011604 .
Here is link to discussion about u construction. https://github.com/JetBrains/JetBrainsMono/issues/212#issuecomment-617643431 To be short, the construction of u wont be changed because it works with JetBrains Mono philosophy. The different construction can be brought by stylistic sets.
The problem with this construction of the a is that it's too similar to the p q b d g so it enhances this rhythm in line and as the result it's more difficult do deferinciate letters.I understand that you subjectively can like it it but this construction is too uncommon for the main character set. it can be brought by the stylistic set too in the future.
