Device model, version and app version
Model Name: MackBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014)
Software Version: MacOS 10.15.6 (19G2021)
App version: 2020.7 (1)
Home Assistant Core Version
0.115.2
Describe the bug
When I access node-RED through ingress, the app does not respond to a click-hold on the mouse center scroll wheel for panning. There are also no scroll bars visible so panning left and right is not possible. Scrolling on the scroll wheel does pan up and down, its just that hold the scroll wheel down does not enable pan in two dimensions as it does when access through a browser.
Also, when holding the LMB and dragging to select a group of nodes, I see big purple boxes pop up on the screen. The nodes still get selected properly, its just the boxes look funky.
To Reproduce
Install the node-RED addon and go to town. You'll see it right away.
Expected behavior
When holding down the scroll wheel, one should be able to pan in two dimensions. Also, when using the LMB to select a group of nodes, there should not be a bunch of purple boxes on the screen.
Screenshots
I can email screenshots if need be. Doesn't look like I can post any in here?
Additional context
This may be resolved by #1038, please check this when the next Mac app beta comes out.
I still see this issue in node-RED in the latest version of the macOS app.
I would like to report that this issue is still present in version 2021.3 of the macOS app.
