I love the work ignite has done with react native project. As there is a huge community out there using graphql clients with react native project. I searched internet and could not find ideal boilerplate for react-native with apollo which manages its own store replacing redux.
Are you guys planning on for any such thing?
This is first time I am writing an issue, please pardon the language.
Agree !
Totally agree !! I really love Ignite and can't wait to have the boilerplate for Apollo.
Pretty much everyone here is sold on GraphQL. We鈥檝e only had 1 client ask/want it and that was a web app.
I鈥檇 love to see this too, but it won鈥檛 be coming out of our camp just yet since we derive our boilerplates from our client work. I鈥檓 willing to bet by the end of this year the story will be completely different though!
So, instead of source code, please accept this emoji horse馃惔 in the meantime.
Would just like to add a +1 to this; I've been working on an app recently (and I always use ignite these days) but the data fetching and state updates just became too expensive. I thought rewriting my rails REST API would take too long, but after 2 days, both the app /and/ the back-end is now on GraphQL and it's just so much smoother! Should've done this way earlier
+1 for Apollo!
+1 for Apollo integration.

So Steve is still correct, here -- we still derive boilerplates from client work. While we have some Apollo work, it's still not a high percentage of our work, so we're holding off on it. We still like Apollo though!
