Identityserver4: Error after changing from Identity server 2.0.6 -> 2.1.3

We have a identity server where we have additional endpoints on the server for user management etc that have:
[Authorize(AuthenticationSchemes = "Bearer", Roles="admin")]

It seems the issue when we access for example /api/users is related to IdentityModel but I am not sure. Does anyone have an idea on this?
