Helm: Recursively find files

Hi, i am new to emacs, can i find files recursively with helm?

Yes, you can - if you have the right "add-on". Have a look at helm-projectile - https://github.com/bbatsov/projectile (other options exist as well)

Thanks for asking the question eorza...anywhere and everywhere is the right place for a beginner to ask a question...when you have plenty of time to waste, take a look at the FAQ...as haxney suggest...it's rather long and useless in finding an answer to your immediate question, but it may hold some other useful data.

@thefonso Please submit a Pull-request for the FAQ if you think it's useless in its current form. As for any opensource project, I would recommend roll up your sleeves and pitch in or STFU. Help for the people who freely give away their time to keep this project gooing appreciated, snarky comments are not.

The right place for discussion and questions is the mailing list as @haxney pointed out.

Finally thanks for trying helm. If it doesn't suit your needs, feel free to move on to something else.

No Offense to you @lewang ...or the FAQ per se.

I was upset with haxney's comment to eorza that, seemed to me, to be a quick "how dare you ask a question noob....go read the FAQ" style statement. For nearly 20 years I've seen that type of response to beginners asking honest questions and that could have been handled much more better.

Simply help the person and then direct the self described noob to the central resource of continued data which is the FAQ.

I am not critical of Helm...I am critical of abusive behavior to noobs.

At some point, we were all noobs.
