I can confirm that this is still failing in Kubernetes KIND as well
Hi @aleksas,
Regarding your config, it seems you didn't use the required values for Docker Desktop mentionned in the README.md.
Despite this part is named Docker for mac because we had no Windows user feedback before, this should also be needed on Docker for windows.
Can you test-it and confirm us if it's OK?
You can also make a PR to rename Docker for mac mentions to Docker-Desktop in the repo so it's more explicit that these values are also working for Docker for windows.
Hi @salaboy,
In the same way, I would suggest you to follow specific KIND instructions in the README.
Switched to minikube for now. I'll keep in mind to check the suggested changes when on Docker Desktop.
@jmirt I've contributed with the KIND README :) but it is now again failing with the latest charts. Not sure why.. did something changed in the docker images?
In my opinion having working charts with docker for Mac and KIND is extremely important for people trying out things locally or running integration tests using KIND. Is there any way to automate those tests in the project infrastructure?
@salaboy, sorry I didn't checked that.
We only have automated tests on GKE and while we have manual tests on Docker for mac, we don't have any tests on KIND.
As your issue is totally different from this one's, can you open a new issue and post your logs, config, commands, ... so at least we have some inputs to analyze even if we don't reproduce it?
@aleksas I'm closing this issue, don't hesitate to reopen it when you try again Docker Desktop
Facing the same issue on KIND, I have used the recommended values for KIND. could be related to https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kind/issues/830
@chattarajoy thanks to your link to kubernetes-sigs/kind#830, I was able to test a workaround using Rancher Local Path Provisioner while waiting for the fix on kubernetes-sigs/kind side in their next release.
More details in https://github.com/elastic/helm-charts/issues/429#issuecomment-571969666.
This seems to occur if you stop and restart your minikube after installing elastic... I'm running into this issue now and is consistently reproducible on my local box. Seems elastic can't handle a cluster reboot. Any solution for this?

Hi @brandoncollins7, as mentionned in https://github.com/elastic/helm-charts/issues/644 this seem to be an issue related to Minikube.
