Fixing more columns than visible in the viewport breaks scrolling.
ZYou get only the cells visible in the viewport or an empty space.

Hi, any updates on this? 馃憤
Sorry to say @rbarato
but I do not see this issue scheduled for Q2.
Ok, thanks for the update.
Unfortunately not @pensula but the issue that you have reported will possibly help us to solve this one https://github.com/handsontable/handsontable/issues/4591 (only the axis is changed).
Hi all, any updates on the milestone? Should we expect this fix to be included in the next release since it has been give the "fixing" label? Thanks
Hi @rbarato
sorry for a misleading label. The fixing related to the functionality called fixing, and not the actual process of repair.
Hi @AMBudnik, sorry for the misconception. Anyway, is there any expected release date?
Currently, we are preparing for the next release but after that, I can try to review the issue and check if's something easy to fix.
Hi @rbarato
the issue seems to be gone in v 2.0.0 http://jsfiddle.net/d1ca94p9/ can you let me know if it also works for you.
Hi @AMBudnik
Made the necessary update in the fiddle http://jsfiddle.net/d1ca94p9/1/ (as getSelected() changed) but the issue still persists, now I can scroll partially the table if frozen after viewport...
Maybe should be opened as a new bug?
Can I ask you to record it @rbarato? I do not see anything buggy
Here it is (http://jsfiddle.net/d1ca94p9/2/)

Thank you for the demo. I can't test it right now but can you check if changing hot.getSelected() to hot.getSelectedLast() solves the issue?
@AMBudnik same result 馃槩 http://jsfiddle.net/d1ca94p9/3/
I do not have the same result with the following demo. I have tested it on Chrome 65 on Windows 10
@AMBudnik Could you please record it? I'm using Chrome 65 on MacOS Sierra
Oh.. I got it :( I've scrolled to the O column having L as a last visible and the viewport do not change http://jsfiddle.net/dpgsetzt/
Hey guys, what's the current status on this?
Thanks!
Sorry @rbarato
I do not have any news. I will ask our CTO to take a look at this issue next week on a devs meeting
Ok @AMBudnik, thanks for moving it forward
It looks like the October's milestone is already too big to add a new bug. However I have left myself a note to mention this bug on the next planning meeting
Hi @AMBudnik, any news on the next milestone? I tried to find this at trello board but I couldn't (I keep asking about this issue because it's crucial to our costumer)
Thanks!
To be honest this subject is really problematic. Our developer checked the behavior for Google Sheets and they block an ability to freeze more columns than visible.
However, I agree that we cannot hold the to be discussed label for so long.
Can you tell me what would be an expected result in this situation (my first video)?
This issue is still replicable on 7.2.2 and 8.0.0-beta.1 version. All data in a table are overlayed when you resized a frozen or fixed column to be widther than viewport.
Additionally, a small square of the bottom scroll is missing.
