@mikela-valve This would be a good addition to the game.

Instead of spamming game with fps_max "999999999999" adding 0 for max fps should be nice. Just like in Source.

Why don't you just do fps_max 10000 ?

what restriction is now implemented on the FPS? and for what we could use the fps_max 0 now?

fps needs to be at least 0.5 and has no maximum bound.

I think it's logical to "0 = infinity" to completely remove the restrictions, and if the restriction necessary in this case to use a certain value.

This is pointless. Why would you want to make your fps infinite if you're walking very slowly with high FPS values?

Cuz physics must be independent from FPS, if independent physics will not realized so i dont understand for what reason u unlock fps?

I agree with r3n4m... FPS should be independent.

1704 is about splitting physics from frame rate, that is the best fix here.

NO way! Why would you want to have infinite fps? It affects the game speed.

@LaurentiuAndrei please read all issues at this topic https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/1399 before talking about infinite fps.
