Halflife: [CS 1.6 - Suggestion] Save captured files to separate folder

Created on 20 Feb 2013  路  5Comments  路  Source: ValveSoftware/halflife

Some players might have a lot of screenshot or demo files:
*.bmp
*.tga
*.dem
and all those files are in /cstrike root folder. It would be better to keep those files in separate folder, For example:
/cstrike/captured/
So it'll be easier to find and control them (play/move/copy/delete)

I totally agree with @idderf. cstrike/screenshot and cstrike/demos is imho much more meaningful.

You can record your demos in some folder. First, you need to create a folder (e.g. "demos") in "cstrike" folder. And second, type in the console "record demos/demoname".

@idderf +1

@mikela-valve a screenshots directory would be appreciated.

P.S Um, i don't know how i unassigned him, weird.
