@ScriptedPiky, I captured our ideas.
These are just brainstorming ideas, nothing set in stone, don't have a fucking heart attack.
The point is low drop chances and generally not OP items, but maybe something that is cool to get from a kill as a nice surprise and/or troll.
right now GT feels like a layer on top of the world, adding GT and other items to some drop tables makes it feel like it is integrated. We're not talking machines and circuit components, maybe some wires occasionally or a silver/electrum dust etc.
Might be able to customize the drops to distinguish between a non player kill, player kill faked via diamond spike, and real player kill.
Makes exploration and resource exploitation more fun
Need to get results from farm testing in #4460 first to see current drops too. Chances should be low, like .1-1%. A nice surprise but not every kill.
creeperfish - manganese dust
dirt creeper - ic2 fert, ztones garden soils
drowning creeper - wax capsules of water? Waterbreathing potions? Clay Water bucket?
fire creeper - pyrotheum dust, lava bucket?
Icy endermen - cryotheum dust
Brutish/Mighty mobs/other TC tags - Enchantment books?
Twilight Forest tomes - enchantment books? Essentia phials?
Wisps - ? already has really good drops imo
Other TF mobs - slates, TC stones, shards
Death creeper - soulbound enchant book?
Blazes - higher chance of pyrotheum dust
imp - hardened leather
vampires - woven cloth? TC enchanted cloth? Something from witchery?
magma cubes - Firestone dust for trolling players
Jolt blazes - some low tier battery? IC2 battery? Batbox? MFSU? silver/electrum dusts?
Charged creeper - Same as above, lower chances?
baby zombies - lead (rope kind), witchery poppet as doll, buttons and levers
silverfish - always infernal, probably good as is, maybe add Infernal drops as below.
galacticraft mobs - tier appropriate fluids etc? Tiered glasses appropriate for Mega EBF? Meteoric iron
pech - drop vis shrooms, maybe primal shrooms?
roguelike have any custom mobs?
Dunno what we can do about specific drops from specific infernal tags, but that would be cool too.
potential drops, needs right mob
hoppers
tiered chests
tiered tanks
wax capsules (so no free cells) with various fluids
Pam's foods
Ticon tool pieces. Nothing too powerful, iron/bronze/steel/alumite. No complete tools.

So for Rare, Very Rare, and Infernal, we keep the normal loot such as the armor and it also could go like:
Rare = Steam materials, basic Minecraft things
Very Rare = LV materials, rare chance for enchanted books
Infernal = LV components? Basic Thaumcraft stuff (thaumium) and nothing too serious, and some other good things
It's fine as is
Current drop tables
https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/NewHorizons/blob/master/config/GTNewHorizons/CustomDrops.xml
https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/NewHorizons/blob/master/config/InfernalMobs.cfg
no drop tables, controls spawn rates
https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/NewHorizons/blob/master/config/SpecialMobs.cfg
Wisps are just fine as they are.
The troll drops are nice.
Wax capsules are definitely a good choice.
Food drops are amazing!
For something really mean, you could always add a super tiny chance to drop a U235 nugget :)
This one definitely should be low enough to not be farmable properly.
And don't make it Pu or it could still break the Radon gate even with a 0.0001% chance.
I think radiation is totally too much troll. But a firestone dust that sets stuff nearby on fire is about right.
"ah ahhh get it out of my inventory"
Depends on where you pick it up I guess. There's plenty other infernal combinations that are just as deadly as radiation, but I do agree that it's kinda just adding onto the annoying certain death list.
.001% chance to drop any item or block in the game, regardless of what it is
