Game-compatibility: Phantom Crash [PL-001] [1.05]
Description
The game shows a black screen the entire time, but has perfect audio through the opening cut scene. Once in the menu, the music is sped up, but it is possible to select options in the menu and get audio ques that things are changing. Without graphics, it is difficult to tell where you are in the menu without having the game booted up on a real Xbox as you walk through the menus.

black screen in the intro and on the menu screen, the game doesn't detect any input from the controller

The game now detects controller input and is able to go through menus, the black screen is still there.
