The game boots, however displays a blue screen for a few seconds before crashing. (It should instead be showing logos)

Gets in game now with very broken graphics. Audio is present but garbled. Interactive. I can race but I can't see what I'm doing. Never crashed when I was messing with it.

Good news: No more in-game graphical corruption. It just renders almost very well. Showing the latest of the two videos from the same user below.

Blue screen at the start (Similar to the OP's shot above). Menus & animated title screen are OK. Menu text bars have missing text? Very sluggish background GFX behind the menus.

While in-game, an opaque hue, that alternates gradually between white and pink, covers the entire screen at times depending on the PC's perspective. All racers' suits are in luminous rainbow shading and all racing machines are blacked out for most of the time. GUI is good. Some props (i.e. flags) flicker. There are infrequent linear render-draw errors on the track when the PC is turning hard.

Edit (11/04/2018): There are no more infrequent linear render-draw errors on the track when the PC is turning hard. But there's a new problem: There's a much larger and evolving ground shading error (garbled/noisy palette mess) with a large radius on the track surface beneath the playable rider. It has lots of angular corners.
The full-screen hue as mentioned above depending on the PC's perspective is one colour only (White/yellow hybrid. It's a different track to the one in above's video.).

Edit (Dec 13, 2020):
This PR # 2048 (Optimize vertex stream cache for partial buffer access), dated November 27, 2020, was tested to help with this game's performance. It should now run much faster than before, and can go above 60 FPS without framecap on slow test systems.
