Flashing has been fixed, game looks a whole lot better now (It's actually been fixed since around Dec. 2nd or 3rd, not entirely sure on the date).
Keep in mind, this still requires a modification to the games files. Remove the Intro_6.bik file in the bink folder of Halo 4 after extracting the game from a ISO or stfs format in order for the game to boot.

Using EmuCR 25 Nov build you can nov get past intro, only to see a black screen then crash,

Got a tiny bit of the main menu on the Apr 8th build. Just the logo, but you'd know it is definitely the main menu if you played Halo 4 before! FYI using OpenGL renderer. Vulkan crashes the same as it used to.
halo 4

We've gotten farther bois (on Vulkan). Input seems to work now, not sure when it happened. Doesn't crash at the Halo logo in the bottom corner after 10 seconds anymore either. Can progress through the menus, but don't stay too long- it'll freeze. OpenGL (at least on AMD, will test on NVIDIA later) seems to have a regression, it now crashes. No intro, just a crash. Loads intro. It loads the title screen but hangs just before the menus appear. I tried it on the previous d3d12 build (eb50eb), and it would hang after the MS logo.

Hey there hard working Xenia devs. Just wanted to mention, I tried Halo 4 Disc 1 with D3D12 build 8e330785 and Master build 20315850.

D3D12: logo loads correctly, game freezes at same place as bdelwood mentions
Master: Missing texture for logo, then black screen before any main menu or halo 4 logo is displayed.

If there is a way I can provide more detailed information for debugging, please let me know. Thanks!

Could you provide a video of what happens? Seems like we're at load or intro.

Sure @InwardHydra. Here you go:

Halo 4's campaign gets in-game on the D3D12 build if you delete the Intro_6.bik file in the bink folder. Menu's will work and all after that.
In order to proceed in the campaign, you need to save and quit immediately after every cut scene, otherwise the game will crash shortly after. It'll still crash, but if you load back up the game will continue on just fine, skipping the cut scene entirely.
I've got a few videos of doing just that to with Halo 4, and even managed to get all the way to Mission 3 in Xenia before it became completely unplayable.

The only problem is this is technically "modding the original files" by deleting the Intro_6.bik file for the game to work at all, so I don't exactly know if this could be considered state-gameplay as of yet.

Another thing is once in-game, the game flashes a lot, and if you have pretty sensitive eyes (most notably any form of epilepsy) I'd advise to even try playing it, much less watching the videos I've posted of it in game. Otherwise, here's video proof of what I'm talking about:

_Remember, this is the early forms of emulation, so if you have sensitive eyes just don't watch it_

Over the course of a few months, I managed to complete every mission (except for 2 rally checkpoints on Mission 3, and Mission 4) of Halo 4. Here's a link to a Youtube playlist of me doing such a feat.

Why did you deleted comments?

Because they're off-topic or unnecessary.

Issues:

Halo 4 FINALLY goes in-game and gets past the intro scene without crashing or issues. You can even go in-game with the 1st mission without doing anything, just hit play and done. No more save and quitting really fast or messing with the game files to get it playable finally.

It just works, well Cortana's face and Lasky's are still all messed up, so are ragdolls on enemies, but hey now we can actually play it.
