After upgrading Franz to 5.4.1, when I click on the link from a mail, there is a pop-up window in Franz app with the following error message

Grrr! A popup blocker may be preventing the application from opening the page. If you have a popup blocker, try disabling it to open the window.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Mac OS version Mojave 10.14.6
  2. Install Franz 5.4.1
  3. Add Gmail in Franz
  4. Click on a link in Gmail

Expected behavior
Link should open

The workaround was fine, but I'm now seeing more and more emails where the "button" is an image and right-clicking it does not give me a URL, but the image URL.

Is there a better way to avoid this?

I see the same issue in Ferdi 5.4.4-beta.2 on Linux

Same on MacOS Catalina. 10.15.3 (19D76). Please fix 馃檹馃従

I'm facing the same problem when I try to open a link from an email (GMAIL) in Windows 10 Pro 1909 (OS Build 18363.720).

Plzz Help.

I'm seeing the same error for Gmail only (links seem to work fine for all the other services I have Google Keep, Google Calendar, Trello, Whatsapp, Discord, LinkedIn and Hangouts).

Using macOS (Mojave 10.14.6 (18G4032)).

The only 'workaround' I've found is to right-click and choose 'Open Link in Browser'.
