Franz: Messenger service no longer usable with a deactivated Facebook account

Describe the bug
Since the update of Facebook Messenger (287.0.0.9.120), it is no longer possible to use Messenger on Franz with a deactivated Facebook account. Attempting to login as usual shows up the Facebook.com login page and will automatically reactivate the Facebook account if signed in. Messenger.com still functions as usual with a deactivated Facebook account.

To Reproduce
Attempt to login to Messenger in Franz with a deactivated Facebook account.

Expected behavior
Login into Messenger web.

• Windows 7
• Brave Browser 1.15.76

Additional context
The problem has first occurred today, October 21, after the Messenger update (287.0.0.9.120).

Ferdi, a fork of Franz, does not have this issue; the Messenger service functions fine there. I have personally switched there.
