Franz: Enable Widevine plugin to allow DRM content in Franz

Created on 18 Jan 2018  路  4Comments  路  Source: meetfranz/franz

Expected Behavior

  • Trying to create a Spotify service and it should work and wrap the web player similarly to how it does Google Play Music.

Current Behavior

  • Trying to create a Spotify plugin recipe, but due to Franz being coded using electron and the widevine plugin not being shipped by default with it, it causes spotify not to be able to work as a service. It pops up an error about enabling DRM content.

@agodlydeciple that's an interesting use case, but unfortunately I don't know if we'll support it yet... :(

Now error message is: "This browser does not support the Spotify Web Player".

I second this, though I want to build an amazon music skill for Franz, I do need widevine support too
