running Franz in the background is already supported (check Settings tab), you can close the window upon first launch

@haraldox He wants Franz to run in the background when he starts up his computer. Currently it just pops up on your screen instead and you have to minimise it manually.

The whole use case is not needing to minimise Franz manually

@haraldox I am also looking for the same functionality, ideally i'd like a tidy desktop on start (mainly to hide the many windows which appear and flash as they load in). (But I would like the notifications given)

Please implement this. Every messenger app ever had this feature - from Skype to Rambox. People launch messengers always at startup, and it's a huge annoyance that the window pops up.
