I want to work on a CLI Project that will enable me read/view latest posts on the dev.to homepage, and on various categories.

An open api would be great for this.

How about using an Atom feed?

An Atom Feed will be better than anything. However, I will rather have something in JSON format because is a more modern web format. I am not aware of anyone that still uses Atom feed. I am sure a lot of people still using it but is not as hot as it uses to be before.

It would be great to have not just a Read/Publish Posts API but a general Dev.to API that community could leverage on and create any types of reading/managing clients with follows/likes/searching capabilities.

yah, this should be top priority task because it's main way to import content from other platform. (In my case, I want to import my Hugo content to dev.to but current RSS importing really bad option)
