Flynn: MySQL support

Created on 16 May 2015  路  15Comments  路  Source: flynn/flynn

Postgres is great, but a lot of applications require MySQL. MariaDB and Percona both have solutions to multi-node replication (Galera and XtraDB Cluster, respectively), so it'd be very similar to the Postgres appliance in many ways.

I don't personally use MySQL, but I agree that to be a viable platform for broad adoption Flynn is going to need to offer MySQL.

In the meantime you can run mysql outside of flynn, you wont get the fancy provisioning stuff for your apps though.
