Ferdi: Google Hangouts - Issues connecting and sending messages

Bug description:

Upon using Gmail or Google Hangouts, I'm unable to to use the service. In Gmail, the message is:
"Google Hangouts is not signed in. Please refresh the page to sign in."

Upon using the Google Hangouts service, it says that the message is unable to be sent, even though I'm logged in.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Log into a Google account with the Gmail service

2. Enable chat so it appears on the sidebar

3. Log into a Google account with the Google Hangouts service

4. Attempt to send a message

Expected behavior

Expect chat to load in Gmail and be able to send/receive messages.
For Hangouts, expect chat to be functional without errors.

I am having the same can't send messages issue with Hangouts service, as well (not the Gmail service).
