Go to a webpage that contains images (in my case it happens with PNG images)
Long press the image
Open the a new tab
The imagine is opened in a new tab in normal size.
The image is pixels tiny. Only after touching the address bar and back, the imagine is shown properly.
@cpeterso wondering if this is GV related?
I can reproduce this bug in both Fenix and R-B, so I filed a GV bug:
Thank you @cpeterso !
Is this still a p1? If so, let's make sure it's properly prioritized in GV.

This bug is on the GV team's July backlog, but we haven't started investigating yet. This bug doesn't seem like a P1 to me. :)
This is a P1. We wanted this fixed before MVP but that was not possible so we removed the "view image" option from the image toolbar as a workaround . @cpeterso @bifleming please make sure this is not de-prioritized now that we have a different labeling system.
Hi Vesta, it's currently #2 in the priority list.

Emilio on the Gecko Layout team is making good progress debugging the Gecko bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1551659#c11
The GV bug was fixed in GV Nightly last week:
QA can't verify this fix until the "Open image in new tab" menu item is restored in #3487.
Verified as fixed on the latest Nightly build 191002 (#12750607) with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9), and Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 (Android 5.1.1).
Reproducible on 2.2.0-rc.1 from 11/10 using a Google Pixel 2a (Android 9).

Reproducible on 2.2.0-rc.1 from 11/10 using a Google Pixel 2a (Android 9).
I'm not to reproduce the bug in Fenix Release (version Nightly 191011 13:35 from 10/11) or Nightly (version Nightly 191014 06:01 from 10/14) on my Moto G5 Plus (Android 8.1) using the same theverge.com page.
Using a OnePlus 3A (Android 6.0.1) phone:
• Reprodubible on 2.2.0-rc.2
• Not reproducible on Nightly Build #12900612 from 17/10
Reproducible on 2.3.0-rc.1 from 28/10 using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A (Android 9)

@AndiAJ - Does that mean this bug is not completely fixed and should be reopened?

The GV bug was fixed in GV 71 and Fenix 2.3.0 still uses GV 70.
