What happened:
I upgraded from external-dns 0.7.1 to 0.7.2 I am using a helm chart, the only thing I changed is the image version (using the image from bitnami docker hub)
nothing else changed in the deployment/rbac objects defintions.
External-DNS went on a restart loop, seems to be related to it unable to talk to k8s api server (I am just guessing that).
The cluster runs on AWS EKS, k8s version 1.16

Here is the dumped config from the log (with some data reduacted)

The errors/messages I am seeing:

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):
Upgrade from 0.7.1 to 0.7.2
Anything else we need to know?:
Reverted back to 0.7.1 and everything works normally
Environment:
external-dns --version): 0.7.2Check the note on the 0.7.2 release.
Note: If you are using an older version, check that you are have the correct RBAC permissions. If you want to listen for Services, you will required Endpoints in RBAC as well.
I had the same issue and it turned out I was exactly missing endpoints in my Manifest (for clusters with RBAC enabled)
@jasoares that is probably it!
thanks for the help, much appreciated.
Closing this issue for now.
