Is Eureka maintained or is it dead? I asked several times for feedback, but never got any answer. Would be sad if Eureka is dead, since it's a very nice project. But getting no feedback at all worries me using it in my projects, since it does not seem to be a good choice if there is no activity around it.
I'm about to commit to using Eureka but I am wondering also.
We're also using Eureka and are a bit worried about the lack of life signs. A potential way out would be if someone made a hard fork of the project and took over maintenance. Is that something you could consider doing @marbetschar?
@MrAlek I'm willing to help in any way I can.
However in my opinion doing maintenance for a project like Eureka is not a one-man-job. It's a major undertaking just keeping things up to date. Or simply put: I can't provide this effort on my own. Neither I believe can anyone - at least not for an ongoing period of time; since we all get busy from time to time.
Given all the energy xmartlabs already put into Eureka, acknowledging they launched the Eureka Community project and recognising the fact that the surrounding community for Eureka is quite large, I feel like we can come to a conclusion without the need of a hard fork.
There is already everything in place, we only need an agreement on how to go further. This, of course, can include men power from the community for helping keeping things up2date.
It all comes down on the future plans from xmartlabs regarding Eureka. For me doing a hard fork is not really an option, it's a last resort.

@marbetschar Hey there.
We are really concerned about this, we’ve been pretty busy around the office and we haven’t had a lot of time to maintain our open source projects for a while.
We are working on setting up a better workflow to be able to give better support to all Xmartlabs OSS projects. Also, we’ll be looking to onboard some new people from the community to give us a hand keeping the projects updated.
All feedback is much appreciated, we’ll be reviewing all pending PRs and issues shortly.
We have no plans on letting this projects die any time soon.
Again, sorry for all the inconveniences.
@m-revetria good news!!! Thank you so much, looking forward getting things rollin‘ again 🎉🤘🏼
Thanks for the update, @m-revetria! Really appreciate all that the maintainers do -- this is a great library! 💜
As @m-revetria said we will continue maintaining Eureka as we have been doing for the last 2 years.
If anyone love want to dedicate some time to improve/maintain it and also love the project we are more than happy to onboard new Eureka maintainers! Just let us know!
