Hi all,
I tried to run an example recipe from repository (recipe_quantilebias.yml) using esmvaltool from command line:
esmvaltool -c config-user.yml -s /path/to/recipe_quantilebias.yml
Synda tool is installed correctly, if I run (for instance): synda get cmip5.output1.CCCma.CanESM2.historical.mon.atmos.Amon.r1i1p1.v20120718.pr_Amon_CanESM2_historical_r1i1p1_185001-200512.nc I get model's datas.
When esmvaltool tries to download data via Synda, it fails and returns Missing data.
log_file: main_log.txt
log_debug_file: main_log_debug.txt
esmvaltool-config-file: config-user.txt
Why is it unable to download and process datas? Any ideas?
Thanks!
obs4mips data is not available via synda as far as I know, maybe @zklaus can confirm this? Your best bet would be to download that data straight from source or alternatively if you have access to any of the HPC's like CEDA-jasmin or DKRZ it's there on disk already :beer:
@valeriupredoi you're right.
I tried a recipe which doesn't contain obs4mips, Synda works correctly.
Thank you!
no probs, if you can get access to eg CEDA Jasmin, then you can apply for group workspace membership to the esmeval gws here and there you'll find the obs4mips files w/o having to download them :beer: You OK to close the issue?
Yes, the Issue can be closed.
Thanks again.
