Element-android: Unnecessary collapsible list on Direct Messages page

On the page that exists solely to view direct message conversations, there is a collapsible called "Direct Messages." Why does this collapsible exist if the only things meant to be viewed on this page are direct message conversations?

You can change the priority of DMs and other rooms. If you make a room high priority it will appear on top, under its own collapsible, and the same will happen if you make it low priority.

Well but if there is only one category it doesn't make sense that this can be collapsed. Just only make it collapsible if there are two or more of those categories

How do I access this functionality? It's not apparent in the context menu when I long tap a direct message conversation. Is this yet to be implemented on RiotX?

You can't do it on RiotX AFAIK, only on Riot Web and (I guess) on other clients.
