Elastalert: Elastalert only sends alerts when running on powershell

Hey guys. Could use a little help on this one.

I just finished making a rule that runs perfectly with no error. I used python -m elastalert.elastalert --verbose --rule in powershell and it resulted in many hits and alerts being sent to my slack. For some reason, it only sends alerts when I run it on powershell.

is there a way to make it so it is constantly scanning and sending alerts instead of me having to go into powershell each time?

Thanks

I don't know much about Windows. Google is your best bet.

@rokstar1254 I don't really know how to do it, but you could try configuring a Windows service to run a Powershell script every time you start the system.
