Ds4windows: What does enable touchpad toggle actually do?

It allows you to toggle the touchpad movement by pressing PS and touching the touchpad.
mostly used to help you stabilize the mouse when clicking, but it is usually better to have a key combination to explicitly enable mouse movement.
or at least that is what I understand it to be.
