We will need TLS (Transport Layer Security) and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) support in the future, specially for #1558 and HTTPS/HTTP2.

Yes - it’s been on my list. It shouldn’t be particularly difficult - we have rustls already built-in. I imagine it working as a new resource type like tcpStream.
