Current Implementation

The new CWA Version added a feature to check the expose more than once a day but this feature is limited to Wi-Fi only

Suggested Enhancement

Add a check options in the settings to enable this feature for Mobile Data!

Expected Benefits

Some people doesn't have a Wi-Fi connection at home or at work!
This feature should work as expected without an Wi-Fi connection (This should be activated manually in the settings of the app)

Thanks @iMonZ - I was considering a similar request - of course I have upvoted here!

I am aware that mobile data is not for free. But let it be my own decision to pay for additional and more frequent checks over a day.
Also this feature would allow me to mitigate a bad internet connection via mobile; I don't need to wait for a full day in such a case.

Just FYI:
The App does not download hourly packages via Mobile Data because

the current agreement includes one update per day in the so-called zero rating.

(See here)

Also I think the CWA-Wishlist would be a better place for this Issue, since this is not only about iOS, but also about Android.

Edit: Thanks for transferring @dsarkar 馃憤

@iMonZ I also support this request!

  1. some people have a lot or unlimited Data!
  2. some people doesn鈥檛 have a wifi connection

Give the people an option to decide if they want to enable this feature!

Hey @iMonZ ,

Thank you for the suggestion. The development team and the RKI will discuss this internally to address your request. As discussed before, the limit is the result of the current zero-rating agreement with the providers.

Regards,
CH
