First of all, Thank you (and all the contributors) for this amazing piece of software. Really my favourite program in Windows software landscape.
I want to save my split screen configuration. I saw issue #441, and learned _how to build_ split screen configurations, manually from saved tasks + cmd -new_console:s50H.
I'd like some help figuring out, if it's possible, to access the current configuration of ConEmu, so I could save it, so I won't have to manually.
I didn't understand your question.
I think the idea is: whilst it's possible to create a repeatable split-screen configuration by specifying the heights and widths of each window, it would be useful to be able to capture that information for the current configuration, so it can be used to create a repeatable setup. So if I've got one window at 60% on the left, and two on the right one above each other, it would be useful to have an option to "Save current split-screen config" so the application could tell me the numbers or commands to use to repeat it in future.
OP: please excuse me if I've got it wrong.
Exactly right, I didn't have time to explain it as well as you did.
You can.
Either "Auto save/restore owned tabs"
Or create a Task (do you know about them?) and filling it with "Active tabs"
