Concrete5: Unable to load block into composer

As a follow up on https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/5-7-discussion/unable-to-load-block-into-composer/

Steps to reproduce:

• Add a new Content block to the Blog Entry page type
• Add a Composer Control block to the Blog Entry page type defaults
• Edit an existing blog page in composer

This will show an "Unable to load block into composer" error.

hi i've the same problem with version 8.2.1 fresh install.
After add the new content Block on the Page type all the new page added work fine on composer with new block.
But if i open on composer an existing page show an "Unable to load block into composer" error.
UPDATE:
on existing page i can't edit the block from the edit mode because there aren't the new block.
It seems that the composer control block are not retroactive andtthe new page type versions is not retrived from the existing page
There is a method for "refresh" this version/block list on page type?
You have a timing on when you work on it?

I can confirm this on the current develop branch 8.3.0 RC2.

I can also confirm that this happens with a fresh install of the develop branch with sample content. When using Composer, the Content blocks on all three default blog entry pages display the Unable to load block into composer. You must edit this content from within the context of the page. error.

There is a method for "refresh" this version/block list on page type?

Some type of way to "reconnect" blocks to Composer would be very useful since the "Unable to load block into composer" error is fairly common.

hi i've an update for this problem. On a 8.3.1 version i've one page type and start create page all is fine.
After some time on some page on composer start to see the error " Unable to load block into composer. You must edit this content from within the context of the page " .
Any Ideas?
