Health facility workers on this project would like an out of office message sent to all clients who engage them during the weekends. They would like the clients to be notified that the health facility is closed and that they should call the nurse for any urgent issues. The current platform sends an autoreply for every message that is received but we are unable to pre-define a schedule to send the autoreply embedded with the out of office notification during the weekends.
Describe the solution you'd like
Out of office notification embedded to autoreplys sent during the weekends. A facility based user wants to set an ‘out of office’ setting on weekends, nights, or a holiday. This would trigger an autoreply to any messages received explaining that the clinic is closed and they should call for any urgent issues.

@joyannee do we know how many messages are sent during weekends and holidays vs during the week and how it is being handled now?
@benkags to @n-orlowski question, is this something we can look up for VMMC. We don’t know yet for CIHA because it hasn’t been deployed and is likely not a true reflection since it’s a pilot. @mmureithi how are they handling the weekend/ holiday messages? I would imagine they just go to the hospital for check up if they don’t get a reply.
I'll let @rmugwanya respond on how VMMC is handling messages that come in during the weekend.
Also, given that one can fall sick at any time and that most primary health centers (Level 2's & 3 in Kenya) do not open during the weekends, I presume that this prompt would provide the much needed guidance when need arises.
Thanks @mmureithi. For the VMMC Zimbabwe deployment, clients are actually given emergency numbers to call during after hours and on Weekends. There is always a clinician on call to provide assistance ---> This is what happens with the routine care process. The fir
de-prioritizing this issue for now. Current plan is to use RapidPro to accomplish this requirement
