Hi. You can make a new version AppImage to get rid of the dependency of old versions Python2, GTK2?

It was not me to produce that old version of AppImage, it would be useful if you or somebody else can provide the configuration files used to produce that old version, starting from scratch doesn't make sense for me because there are other working possibilities and the GTKMM3 version is our priority now

@giuspen I do not use Snap or Flapup. Too much trash from them and fuss.

My distribution currently has a dependency on the cherrytree> python2-gtksourceview2> gtksourceview2> gtk2 package. I do not mind if the appimage will have new versions of GTK

Could you include in the "edge" channel in snap the gtkmm3 version??, its very interesting for me, hdpi is something missing for me

That's funny, @hellsworth (a snap creator of gtk2 version) wrote about considering creating snap with gtk3 version just 30 minutes ago))

I will start to produce and link (development) Debian packages of the Gtkmm3 version soon so that people can help us debug the remaining issues before we will ship the first official Gtkmm3 version
