Hi community,
Any plans or ideas for implementing Kotlin support on the android stack?
@AlejandroHCruz can you please elaborate? If this is something that we can add to Android stack, it's quite easy to achieve. You cam issue a PR against https://github.com/eclipse/che-dockerfiles or help me modify the stack

@eivantsov, Kotlin is now an oficial Android language, is also oficially supported by Gradle and can compile to java bytecode, javascript and native code, making isomorfic development in java based webapps a reality, this is a must have for eclipse che besides being an emerging standard just imagine developing the latest che release with the same language at frontend and backend <3
@eivantsov That's the spirit! Kotlin support is also what has kept me from switching to eclipse che since months. It should be simple to add it to the Android stack for someone with experience doing it.
I am working on a Kotlin stack. Stay tuned :)
@eivantsov theres work on a plugin for Eclipse Mars maby that can help in your Che plugin
