Search didn't help much. I'm getting blank screen on first start on 2.12.0 and 2.12.1 running on Mac os 10.13.4 and can't log in
Building with login.messenger.com instead of messenger.com/login didn't help as well..
Same issuses here on multiple Linux distributions, like Linux Mint/Ubuntu/MX Linux.
I'get blank screen on first start on Caprine version 2.12.1
Yap POP!OS the same.
I have tried using caprine for the first time today, same blank screen on Windows 10.0.16299. I can see the login form if I switch to work chat.
edit: I've opened the console by pressing F12 and it appears that messenger.com/login returns HTTP 500. Everything appears to work _almost_ fine if you access messenger via facebook.com/messages. Type this.document.location = "https://web.facebook.com/messages/" in the console to do so.
Hello There I have a "blank screen" has well on Debian.
Running Caprine through the command line reveals a problem when the app is checking for update.

While I'm at it, thank you for your work.
Look's like the problem solved. Today I tried to launch Caprine version 2.12.1 under Debian and program works out of the box. Thank you for your quick fix.
Yeah me too. Would be interested to know what happened.
Can confirm. Fixed by itself.
