Browser-laptop: Suggestion: Brave task manager

Would be good if a Chrome equivalent of the task manager would be also available for Brave, to watch processes and with a simple way to kill them off if necessary.

Seeing high CPU 50-60% in Brave, with many tabs open (15-20) over 2 windows. How do I single out which is offending tab? This would be a huge help.

Even a simple 'about:tabs' or 'about:processes' pseudo-URI, with a single-point-in-time snapshot of PID->tab, would be a big help – allowing correlation with other PID-centric system tools.

This might help us users to report issues more accuratly.
sometimes a tab freezes and I can't determine why.
Is it the site that caused it? or was the browser?...

It would be very helpful if I can know which tab is using too many CPU / memory (like the task manager in Chrome).

Even just an "about:tabs" that gave the native-OS process-ID for each tab would be a great help, and allow cross-correlation with information in OS-tools (like MacOS 'Activity Monitor') to identify CPU/RAM-hogging tabs. For example, I would so like to know which nasty-tab is driving PID 2824 here:

When we move to the Chromium based UI (Brave Core), we will have support for this 😄 Here's a screenshot of this in action:

We won't fix this in the browser-laptop repository since we already have this working in brave-core, so I'll mark this issue as wontfix and close.

But please know that the issue is actually fixed and will be coming soon 😄
