Created on 29 Apr 2020  路  1Comment  路  Source: brave/brave-browser

Description

Can't select website name and suffix without the https://www. prefix, unless you first click twice in the address bar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select github.com in the address bar.
  2. Observe that the https://www. prefix is revealed and also part of your selection.
  3. Feel bad.

Actual result:

Expected result:

Select only github.com.

Reproduces how often:

Anytime there is more to the URL after .com/. For instance, selecting works as intended if you're at https://www.github.com but not at https://github.com/brave.
