Before version 1.1.557.0, it indicates name of sync tool as [Azure AD Connect sync]. Is some version(s) anything different than [Azure AD Connect]? A bit confusing occurs.

@XhellarchX The Azure AD connect as a product comes with multiple internal parts like sync engine , Management console , Configuration manager etc. The word "sync " refers to the Sync engine component where-ever mentioned. And sometimes customers use Azure AD Connect and Sync or Sync Engine interchangeably which denotes the primary task for the product which is to sync objects from on-premise to the Azure AD tenant .
