When using the following command:
az aks create --resource-group myResourceGroup --name myAKSCluster --node-count 1 --enable-addons monitoring --generate-ssh-keys
Why is the un-supported old dashboard deployed?
As they mention in almost every ticket at the moment, they do not support 1.10.1 anymore (even though its their latest stable release)
https://github.com/kubernetes/dashboard/issues/4668
Is there a reason for azure's default to not be the new dashboard?

Any idea when i can expect an answer?
We are working to update the dashboard version after multiple known bugs, issues, permissions and RBAC items we've identified with newer versions before updating the full fleet. We do not recommend using the upstream dashboard in production installs per AKS documentation due to the aforementioned issues.
Thanks @jnoller for sharing the update.
