@xtianus79 Thank you for reporting this. Investigating.... #in-progress
@xtianus79 I noticed the option is available when you search for "Language Understanding" directly from Azure Marketplace as shown in this document. However, if you click on your resource group > Add > AI + Machine Learning > Language Understanding, the option isn't available. Hence, I suggest you follow the direction in the document.
@diberry do you agree, and can you please notify the product team of this discrepancy so they can fix it? Thanks.
@GiftA-MSFT Yes, I'll follow up with the service team.
@xtianus79 please let us know if you're still unable to view the "both" option by following the steps outlined in the document, otherwise, we'll proceed to close this thread. Thanks.
@GiftA-MSFT @diberry the option is not there, meaning the option "both", even when choosing Language understand or cognitive services resource. In your scenario, where you would click the + ADD from the resource group and the AI section, yes adding Language understand or a cognitive resource option isn't there - but that's not the issue.
The issue here is that you can assign "both" endpoint and authoring key when creating the resource. I do remember this being there previously.
@xtianus79 This is a known issue and is being fixed. Thank you for reporting it.
@diberry ahhh ok!
@diberry and @GiftA-MSFT this is actually a bigger issue than perhaps realized... There is no way to change the authoring setting because of this and I keep getting subscription errors and forbidden usage in the LUIS portal
@xtianus79 Can you log this issue from inside the LUIS portal via the top nav bar feedback -> General inquiry through user Voice (smile face)? That gets the issue directly to the support people.
@xtianus79 Were you able to log the issue?
@cahann Do you have any more information on this?
@diberry yea, I am going to submit a ticket
Can you try this link https://ms.portal.azure.com/#create/Microsoft.CognitiveServicesLUISAllInOne?
@diberry ahhh that works. Where did you get that link? lol so that is what we should use?
@xtianus79 - yes, the docs with be updated in the next few weeks with that link. Sorry for the confusion. Please continue asking questions when you find issues with the product or docs.
@diberry where there be a create resource that is different as well. Meaning, when you type language understanding will that be the new choice that comes up?
@xtianus79 - eventually, at some point in time, yes. Bugs are logged and in process but I don't have access to the status.
