You should delete your subscription by following the steps listed in the doc your mentioned if you wish to remove all services.

After that, to delete your Microsoft account, please follow these steps.

Hi, I am also having the same problem here. I could not find any method to delete Microsoft Azure account as my Free Trial period is over and I dont need it anymore. I am trying to unbind my credit card information from both Microsoft azure account and Microsoft account but it does not allow me to do since it is defined in Azure account. Please provide a proper answer as most of the people here are either system engineer or developers who understand how things work in Enterprise level environment. Thank you
