What is the "developer key" mentioned in the explanation of vary-by-developer?
It doesn't seem to be the API keys from a subscription since from what I understand those do not vary by developer.
Similarly, what "user role" is referred to in vary-by-developer-group?

Hi @dcbrown16 Pretty sure "developer key" refers to subscription keys and "user role" refers to a group that the user is associated with.

@vladvino any thoughts on this?

I think you are probably correct, @mike-urnun-msft, if we can get confirmation the docs should be updated to use consistent terms.

Hey @dcbrown16 We've updated the doc to ensure consistency:

• "developer key" is updated to read "subscription key" and links to its respective doc
• "user role" is updated to read "user group" and links to its respective doc
