Azure-docs: File size limit in outputs

Created on 14 Sep 2018  Â·  5Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

I think it would be wise to list the file size limit of 512 MB for tracked files in outputs folder. This limit is listed in the 'Known Issues And Troubleshooting Guide' (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/machine-learning/service/known-issues-and-troubleshooting-guide), but I think it is relevant to add it to this part of the guide as well. Many models produce files that are larger than the limit, and because of that it would be helpful to know from the beginning that the limit exist.

Also (and this is more a product feedback), I think it would be wise to look into how Azure ML Workbench handle runs that produce such large files. It is unstable, to say the least.

@hning86 Hi Hai, here is a document response about the file size limit, can you please check it and update the document as necessary? Thanks a lot!

@ArvidBaa Hi, you should see the change now. Thanks for your feedback. We will now proceed to close this thread. If there are further questions regarding this matter, please respond here and @YutongTie-MSFT and we will gladly continue the discussion.

Thank you! However, I'm surprised that you still maintain and update the documentation for Azure Machine Learning Workbench, since it has been deprecated.

@ArvidBaa We maintain the document till the last minute ^^ Thanks.
