Azerothcore-wotlk: build[compilation FAIL] anyone? 1668b76

does anyone Fail on compilation on 1668b76 ?

not only the world socket warning still happen but the compilation have fatal error and fail to finish compilation [from #2735]

I have no idea what affect to the core currently ,or is it only me??? TT[]TT

nope,I just only fresh pull from git I'm on windows x64 8.1

right... I go back to test the old clone link from here

I used 2. choice the first time, then clone and pull the update to latest but I dont know what happen perhaps from my mistake I got error from above with SOAP

now I test again clone from choice 1 and recompile again now the error gone but world socket still warning [from issues/2735]

I can confirm a build error with the latest Visual 2019 version 16.5.0 (updated on 03-18-2020). But it is not the same error as this issue ticket. This should have it's own issue, yes?

i cant find 16.3.0 installer, and i install VS from link from http://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/Requirements . i successful build latest AC.

My compilation fails also, but with a different error:

It says that I need to add a ; after my_bool*.

I know that this requires MySQL 5.7 but I'm wondering if there is a fix to make it works with MySQL 8 instead.

@asfo yes, there is a fix for MySQL 8.0 for Windows 10.

I personally run MySQL 8.0

The reason you see that error is because in MySQL 8 my_bool was removed, not longer supported

Usually you get that error if you try to compile while Worldserver.exe/authserver.exe is still running.
