Avideo: Can't log in to the encoder

after I have logged in on the platform, i can't login on the encoder-platform.

Hi

you are probably redirecting your streamer site.

maybe from http to https and in the Streamer Site input text you are using the http one.

but anyway, I just sent an update to the encoders and it may be working for you now.

Also after login , and going back the main site , does automatically log you out .

It's struggling with the new plugin , logging control .

I sent a fix tor the PHP notices

but looks like you have the singleDeviceLogin enabled.

the encoder has disconnected you.

I will send a fix to avoid the encoder to disconnect you.

Same issue, fresh install on Ubuntu 20.04 as of Oct 30. Followed Xiao Guoan tutorial for the third time in 5 days. Always started with fresh Ubuntu 20.04. Spent a day going through all issues to find fix. Changed the two settings in php.ini to "on". Everything working accept the streamer site sign in. The error is "SORRY! We could not find your streamer site!" Here is the log from /var/www/AVideo/upload/videos/avideo.log

Are the GET or POST variables reaching the streamer?

If it is not I guess you are redirecting http to https .

make sure the StreamerURL in the encoder is https

In /var/www/AVideo/upload/videos/configuration.php the webSiteRootURL is https://chaosvids.com/upload/

In the AVideoEncoder database configurations table the allowedStreamersURL is https://chaosvids.com/

When I attempt to sign in I use the Streamer Site https://chaosvids.com/

Is there anywhere else I should be checking?

Side note: This set up is on my home server using a static IP. It is currently the only thing the server is being used for. I have port forwarded ports 8080, 80, 1935, and 443 to my server. Am I missing any?

@djirving82 I have solved the same problem partially with a new streamer installation. I have not yet been able to solve the problem on a previous installation.

I have now reinstalled everything 6 times. The last time I used Nginx instead of Apache. Same problem. I can log into the streamer site just fine, but the encoder site "can't find the streamer site" no matter what I do. I literally purchased a domain to use for this, so I'm frustrated to say the least. Here is what the streamer log looks like when I attempt to sign in to the encoder...

Reinstalled AGAIN with default encoder folder name, after reading a comment about it. I was able to get the online encoder working, but mine is still doing the "We could not find your streamer site" thing. So I decided to just use the online encoder for now. I then started installing an SMTP server. It turns out that the above edit of /etc/hosts is a step in that install. The install is taking a LONG time, but I will report back with my results as they pertain to this streamer site issue.
