Install from source, Debian packages are for Debian Stable only
Thanks. It may be good to add this information on the readme.
I mentioned it in the common issues list that you deleted before posting :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
- The theme is broken after installing from a repository.
- Check if the repository that you're using is _specifically_ for the distribution (and distribution/GTK version) that you're using.
Yes, I read this part, but since I am on Debian, and it is a Debian package, I did not pay much more attention.
So I take it there won't be an update for Debian Stretch? :'(
openSUSE's OBS currently doesn't allow building for Debian testing/unstable, only stable
What @feskyde said. I could easily add a repo if testing/unstable were available as build targets. Maybe make some noise on the openSUSE OBS bugtracker. I don't know if the whole is because of technical reasons, though.

I've packaged arc-theme for Debian - it is now in Debian Unstable and will flow into Debian derivatives such as Ubuntu 16.10 automatically now.
You are awesome, sir. Thank you very much.

The problem persist when compile from source! I'am running Debian Strech!
The arc theme .deb package entered debian stretch today. Suggest try that.
@fossfreedom
I try! But don't work! The same package i've recompiled from stable and work well! It does not seem to work with gtk 3:20!
Then I have no idea because on my debian stretch the package works just fine
@fossfreedom
It's worked! Nice work!
