Appium and Appium Desktop?

The problem

I have installed appium desktop using .dmg file and it is available under Applications.
I have installed appium 1.6.4 and configured WebDriverAgent project and it works fine if I launch old appium GUI, it gives me inspector screen but the same is not working with appium desktop.
