App: Missing tx history

Actual behavior:

My wallet shows I have a total transactions of 139 for BTC and DFI. For BTC, it only displays my recent transactions since updated to v2.4.0 on 28May. For DFI, it only displays my recent transactions on 28May and also 26Apr2021.

Expected behavior:

To show all my past transactions since I 1st funded the wallet in 26Apr2021.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

What are your environment parameters?

• DeFi Wallet Version: 2.4.0
• Operating System (OS): Windows 10
  – Current free storage capacity: 150 gb

Hi @KelBED , thanks for your logs & screenshot, please give us time to investigate. In the mean time you may use DeFiChain Portfolio to monitor your tx history.

Hello, may I check is it normal to sync for almost 6 hrs and still stuck at 99.94 % (gradually dropping)? It kept showing something failed, etc.

Hi @KelBED missing tx history is an ongoing issue that the team is investigating. The sync being stuck at 99.94% is another issue. Can you close the app, restart your PC and open the app again, see if it syncs back up to 100%.

Hello, rebooted, has dropped to 99.92% currently and still sync-ing. Does this means I can't use DefiChain portfolio app too?

The DeFiChain Portfolio app was created by some community members, it can be used as an alternative to track your tx history, especially with the ongoing issue of missing tx history. The team's in the midst of investigating the issue and we might be releasing an app update soon. Thank you for your patience.

@izzycsy you asked me in reddit for uploading some logs for this issue. What kind of log do you need? The wallet's app.log or the binary.log or both? I willing to share the information to solve this issue if you tell me what you need.

BTW don't recommend using DeFiChain Portfoliocheck at the moment. It seems they cannot handle the new node version with the current application and so synchronization will get stuck. According to an issue in github, the fix will be implemented in version 1.5.
