@zdx3578 it depends on your needs. We have done several retrofit platforms without using Dataspeed black boxed ADAS Kit. It's very expensive and only funded startup can do it. Otherwise, like I said you may want to reverse engineer the whole CAN messaging, create ICD to find the right signal of the testbed.

If you're interested hacking other vehicle platform instead MKZ, you can start here

You can refer apollo/docs/quickstart/apollo_1_0_hardware_system_installation_guide.md for details on hardware.

we need from Autonomous Stuff buy CAN hardware for control MKZ??

@waxz it's actually from Dataspeed. AS is just installer for MKZ/Fusion. If you're handy enough you can tap the By Wire system inside the vehicle.

Another way around, you can tap the Accelerator Pedal for ACC and EPAS to gain control of steering, for MKZ brake is similar to the Accel pedal. If you're CAN savvy, you can look up the dbc table and start sending 8 bytes CAN messaging to control the whole car.

@andrewraharjo not need buy some hardware from Dataspeed?

AutonomouStuff also provides a full Apollo 1.0 Kit https://autonomoustuff.com/product/baidu-apollo/ if you want to get things down quickly and can afford the price.

@apollo-baidu no price public

@waxz as common in the industry, prices for relative expensive equipments are provided on quote-bases. Feel free to reach out to autonomoustuff https://autonomoustuff.com/ if you would like to learn more.

Sorry that we lost track of this issue, but it seems OP is addressed by the discussion. So I am closing the issue. Feel free to re-open if I missed something. Thank you for your interest in Apollo.
