Anki-android: Missing numbers in statistics

Created on 26 Mar 2019  路  8Comments  路  Source: ankidroid/Anki-Android

Reproduction Steps
  1. View statistics in AnkiDroid and Anki Desktop (i.e. the "answer button" graph)
  2. compare the results
Expected Result

The numbers for each graph (i.e. for the answer button graph: total cards, correct answered cards and the accuracy/percentage) which are shown in Anki desktop are shown in AnkiDroid as well

anki_stats

Actual Result

No numbers in AnkiDroid at all. I cannot even guess my accuracy. I need to use an SQL app to get the data from the collection file.

ankidroid_stats

Debug info

AnkiDroid Version = 2.9alpha66

Android Version = 9

ACRA UUID = f2d13677-d957-460e-9f8e-33ca6f832c17

If someone is going to add the missing statistics, the focus should lay on the data which can't be calculated by the user or can't be found in the card browser using search terms. These are:

Answer buttons:

  • number of correct and total LEARNING cards (ex: "2348 of 2420")
  • percentage of correct answered LEARNING cards (ex: "Correct: 97.02%")
  • number of correct and total YOUNG cards (ex: "4306 of 4502")
  • percentage of correct answered YOUNG cards (ex: "Correct: 95.65%")
  • number of correct and total MATURE cards (ex: "3829 of 4009")
  • percentage of correct answered MATURE cards (ex: "Correct: 95.51%")

Card Types:

  • Total notes per deck (ex: "Total notes: 21626")

[the number of notes per note type can be found in the "edit note types" screen, but not the number of notes per deck]

Seems that giving up a little screen real estate by shortening the bars in order to have room to display numbers is possible

To be more specific, here is a list of all MISSING numbers in AnkiDroid in comparison to Anki desktop:

Summary/Today:

  • seconds per card (ex: "35,6s/card")

Review time:

  • Total review time (ex. "Total: 1839 minutes")
  • Average answer time (ex. "Average answer time: 32.1s (1.9 cards/minute)"

Added:

  • graph is missing in AnkiDroid. The numbers (in the summary screen on AnkiDroid) differ massively in Anki desktop and AnkiDroid. The goal should be to show the same numbers on both platforms

Card Types:

  • Total cards (ex: "Total cards: 35124")
  • Total notes (ex: "Total notes: 21626")
  • Lowest ease (ex: "Lowest ease: 130%")
  • Average ease (ex: "Average ease: 240%")
  • Highest ease (ex: "Highest ease: 295%")

:scream:

Great! Thanks @david-allison-1 for implementing this. Very useful information indeed!
(But I think you made a mistake, my mature retention can hardly be that bad :-o .... Ok, I'll have to face the truth then)

@Anthropos888 - No worries!

2.11 will always be around if don't want to face reality 馃槣

(Seriously, though, I'm assuming you're joking. Do give me a shout if there are any issues)
